I did reply to another post about the stain, do you have any of the Extra KT left over from the sandstone stain you had? if yes and it hasn't gone off then that will remove the stain you have.

Don't Resiblock do a small container of OR? I'm sure I had either a 1L or a 500 ml can when I did the driveway re-furb project

They do a 250ml sample tin.
Simon if the Extra KT don't do it, I do have a 250ml tin here just not sure where you are based.

Covered it over will take a look tomorrow if no one nicks my tarpaulins and cones

Thanks Simon

If the KT has gone hard and powdery then it won't work properly, If you are in Romford Resiblock is just down the road from you in Basildon. If that is all oil stain, the 250ml isn't going to be enough, at least 1 lt I would say needed.

Another couple of products you could try that are a bit cheaper then Resiblock, OT8 which you can buy on line only from oiltechnics, or from places like Halfords you could try Thompsons, they do an oil stain remover which I tried and wasn't to bad but needed to be done twice.

Simon,
If the KT goes hard or powdery then it doesn't work, has to be in it's gel/wet state to use, I'd give the Thompson's ago as they do, do 1lt bottles.

Took a picture of it today it's a little wet around the edges, this is after once over with the Extra KT and some good improvement on the stain

Image

I think I will give it one more go with the extra KT just to use the remains of the tin up.

I also got a bottle of this stuff 2l from homebase for just over £13 thanks roger

And I will load another picture after the remains of the extra KT is used and then cleaned and dried before using the thompsons if at all needed

Thanks again Simon
