I notice you put cash on collection only.
I done that once and had my listing withdrawn and hand slapped with a warning by ebay.
Reason is that you can't deter someone from using Paypal ( I wonder why LOL)
I suspect a fellow seller with a similar item rumbled me.
I relisted and sold ok but the greedy seller who I suspect had his item unsold.

Never accept paypal if the person is colecting the goods,As a buyer can make a charge back for goods not recived as you cant supply a tracking number from courier delivery so paypall will refund buyer, but you cant say cash only,
It happens all the time,i'm shure if you read the ebay terms it tells you cash on collection is ok,

As we were discussing the other day ebay is far from perfect.
You can offer cash on collection but you can't state that it's the only method you will accept. Also it's not possible to turn off the Paypal method of paying so a buyer can indeed collect in person pay by Paypal and then claim their money back.
I suppose the only way around it is after the auction is finished is not to release the goods unless they pay cash.
If they neg you for it then the chances are they were scammers.

Doesn't take much working out the ebay is dead keen on everyone using Paypal so they make more money.

Exactly what I do, sell the item from the ebay ad with number then pull the auction, sorted! :) :)

I went off Amazon for a while over the comedy tax rate issue, but it eventually dawned on me that, if they did pay the full whack, their prices would have to go up.

There's no way that they would pay additional tax out of their profits; it could only come from the customers, so do I want to pay more for my books and my MP3s so that Gideon Osborne can fritter it away, or do I prefer to keep my money in my wallet?
