The survey results also showed that those in the Outer Hebrides, Shetlands and Orkney Islands were among the happiest in Britain, compared to residents of London, Edinburgh, Luton, Reading, and Slough, who had the lowest happiness ratings.

luton does it again!

Probably true about Edinburgh. I'm quite happy but most customers I go and see like to have a good moan.

Come to crawley town, you cant concentrate on unhappiness for all the planes overhead and the noise all the single mums kids make, on top of all the benifit scroungers snoring from every second house that only stops when jeremy kyle is on...

With a new baby boy, moving to a bigger house and loads of work booked in, I'm uncharacteristically cheery at the moment.

Pissing rain and dealing with BT incompetence over a snagged underground connection can't dampen my sunny disposition.

I'm sure the gruff northern misery I'm famous for will make a resurgence sooner or later.
