anyone know how to tile a floor ? want to do my kitchen and dont really want to pay someone if i could do it myself 
problem is i dont know how to go about it .....

we use a lad that charges us £20 per metre including adhesive and grout,cuts and laying
we just supply tiles
i can do it but he would do my floor in a day all cuts the lot
the main thing is getting the floor as flat as you can before you start,latex it if need be
matting if its on timber
porcelain tiles are better than ceramic but the price goes up
bear in mind appliances may not be able to move up 10-15mm under a worktop
its do able michael but a tiler would do in a day what would take you or i 3 days
summat to bear in mind

totts tiles, or most of the tile shops sell a video on it for a couple of quid.
