When my mate was supposed to be selling his quarry/ stone yard, the auctioneers gave the stuff away. He's said he just wanted to get rid and had not put reserves on anything.
Approx 400 tons of perfectly workable random rubble walling stone went for £800 and two pallets of Yorkstone crazy paving went for a fiver.
This was summer 2008 when times were good and the country was awash with easy money. Can't see that auction achieving anything like the guide prices shown.
The granite kerbs would be a good buy I'd be happy with paying that for all of them but most of that stuff is just crap that's been badly stripped from some poor old building and has already been picked through for the best bits.
