obviously we have holiday insurance and at the airport on our recent trip to hungary,
mrs lout fell over on some spilled water in the x-ray area
she hurt her hip and ankle and we had to wheelchair her on and off the plane
anyway on our return she contacted the above and they have basically just been fobbing her off all week
she can hardly walk (been to hospital and nothing broken but summat not right) and they keep saying "its one of those things"
well its not 1 of those effing things, its a brand new airport and they should have systems in place for dealing with spillages

anyone know an ombudsman on consumer type of body we can contact to complain about this fail insurance company?
they are so quick to take your money year on year
but the minute you claim they just want to ignore you
to my mind its their job to pursue this against the owners of ferighey airport (a german firm)
its what public liability is all about
any tips or ideas to gee them up greatly appreciated

if it was at home i would say "be more careful"
but in a public place ,where there shouldn't be any spilled water (seeing as no water is allowed in hand baggage)
i think a claim is justifiable
the hospital and doctor here have been pretty poor, just prescribing *rest and peardrops*
we shall see what happens

I would definately run it pass one,no win no fee you have nothing to loose, and would get mrs L back to docs ,i always take names of who i'm talking to on the basis nobody wants to be put in the frame for neglect so they tend to get the job sorted .good luck with it,
