I went to the first car boot sale of my life today near Knutsford, got there at 7am and it was absolutely rammed!
The best item I saw on offer was a TS450, I started it up and the seller then said he would take no less than 300 quid, so I gave it a miss.

i did them 15 years ago at the herts showground but they have gone to shite round here now
it used to be proper car booting with people selling all sorts of bricabrac
now if you do it you just get poles and pakistanis offering you 10p for year old dvds priced at £1
last time the missus did one i nearly chinned someone who wouldn't stop annoying her so I am better away from them
in the past have picked up a metal bucket of 10 wooden lead beaters for £2

There was no gear for sale of the quality of yours MSH at Knutsford!
Your fold up table is in better nick than all the one legged dolls and broken hoovers that I saw on Sunday!

thx Ken,i only sell quality tools the stuff i use myself,no 50p shit, all brand names direct from my tools supplier usually at 1/2 -2/3 retail cost, the table was borrowed from a local hall.... :D pasting table is not great but im looking for a upgrade, I try not to sell anything less than 2 quid which is a 5m tape, MSH :)
