If, like me, you are wondering why we work outdoors in this god-forsaken climate, and want to take out your frustration on a desrving cause, please be my guest and advise chummy here just where to stick his so-called skills......
Sir I am doing a patio in Coventry and laid slab direct on earth which was sprikle with cement dust
now customer is complaing.
I say patio is fine because it doent have vehicle weights on it only foot, and all gaps in paving fill with Gripfill to bond it tighter.
Please make sure it is oK for light use because I did this work for only £450 for 30 squre meters and supply ecverything some was reclaimed.
And I've actually broken up the stream-of-unconsciousness style in which this gem was submitted by email!!
Names have been removed to protect the idiotic.

We had half an hours rainfall and were two inches deep underfoot by the time we got back to the slabs, which wasnt helped by the fact they had ordered plastering sand, not sharp!! Sharp is coming in morning!
So if anything we have had quite a good day in comparison to my laddo!!

We had 2" of Hail land on us yesterday afternoon, just managed to get everything tidied away and down it come. This last 5/6 weeks has cost me a fortune, you get in work, set up, make a start and then spend the rest of the day dodging showers and sticking up shelters, zero production. By the time you decide to call it a day, it's past half day and I've ended up paying the lads a full day for less than half days work!! Too be fair they've mainly offered to just be paid for work finished and not for standing around moaning.
I'm looking for a new skilled layer, can I have his number, just whats needed
