this is my 16th year of working out doors and until today ive never been sun burnt in march, not some thing you’d expect to happen working in Warrington!

Good for business, bad for yer skin, you can't win. Got to admit that I love it when the weathers good, I know we need rain, but sitting out in the Garden over the weekend, eating and drinking, chilled me out no end. Normally woolley jumpers and rain coats needed to do anything outside at this time of year, all though we're still getting frosts in the morning.
Problem with the lack of water in the SE has been known about for years, to big a growing population and to little rainfall , something should have been sorted or at least started years back. All new homes should already have been built with Rain Harvesting reservoirs, grants should have been available for existing home owners, and we do live on an Island, so how about Desalination plants and canals from the North and West. Birmingham gets it's water from Wales, and at the moment they're just completing all the new supply lines for the new Gas network, could of done something at the same time maybe?? I suppose the Government wants all our new African and other tropical migrants to feel at home .:rock:

Working on a house very close to a primary school and unfortunately this hot weather is making all the yummy mummy's leave their big frumpy winter clothing at home! :p

The benefits of working on a university campus are very apparent in such weather :p

My son has just handed me a letter from school saying they wont let the kids in the play ground at play time unless the lads have long sleeved shirts, full length trousers on. And for girls long sleeved shirts and ¾ length skirts on. And no child can bring in sun screen/block as other children may be allergic to it. And due to the recent dry weather the playing field is out of bounds because of hard ground.
Tomorrow I think I might send him in wearing a full NBC suit wrapped in bubble wrap with a cotton wool lining.

Bunch of morons. In Australia we weren't allowed out unless we had a hat and sunscreen. A lot of schools started supplying zinc and sunscreen too.
My tan is coming along nicely, my top half is like 60's Michael Jackson and my bottom half is like 00's Michael Jackson :laugh:
