we swapped in august to a new supplier
"scottish power"
brilliant new rate £104 per month for gas and electricty
got a letter today
"you have used more than we thought so from next month your direct debit will be £244"
i spoke to a lady there, and she said " you have used a lot of gas"
and i said "yep,its freezing"
i can swallow it ,but you can see how old people suffer
£10 cold weather payment wont help if your bill is £250 per month

Times like this that I'm glad I sell bottled gas. I have a few second hand heaters in the house and run them off gas bottles that still have a few hours left in them that I get back from customers. Biggest gas and electricty bill I have had was £150 (for 3 months).
