Hi
well as most of you on here are self employed like my mrs is im sure you have had this sort of problem.
My mrs is a self employed child minder and was knocked for some money so she decided to take it to court and was awarded the debt to be paid at £100 per month untill full payment has been made.
Now that this has been done thats the good news the bad news is that since the application to the court and the judgment was made they have moved address.
We know they have not informed the court of a new address but we know they are still local as we see them around, does any one know how we can get an address for them so we can make sure they get a copy of the court judgment so the money can be paid and my mrs can move on from this saga.
any ideas would be welcomed
many thanks simon

as dave said the debt is unethical anyway
we had a lad work for us who was always in hock to someone for something, the amount of times i got calls from people claiming to have found ollie's phone, wallet, keys, etc and wanting his home address so they could drop it home was no-ones business
i think they refer to this practise as fishing
I just said "ollie who???"

Bit of an old post but this was sorted in the end, we got the court order for £100 a month but they missed a few months so we then sent another copy of further court proceedings for an attachment of earnings order.... that done the trick and the payments was made every month with pre dated cheques..
Long way round but we got it in the end

Its horrible getting knocked after you have done the hard work for someone else to benefit. We've been knocked half a dozen times, the biggest figure was for 15K to a builders merchants who went bust (codebuild). Luckily the kind of business we run doesnt expose us too often. My dad manafactures bakery machinery and getting knocked is just part of the game. my father in law does plumbing on new builds and he has been burnt for serious money over the years. they are a bunch of bastards

I was bumped or 2k total last year. Found the work address of 1 and the home address of the other 3. I will get my money back.
In the mean time, going to get a card machine so I don't get screwed again.
