Works unusually quiet at the moment, got a few things in the pipeline, but not a lot. Anyone needing a Paving gang/landscapers/grafters? I've all me own kit and transport, and will travel. I can be solo or as a gang(this is sounding like one of those adds in Bargain Pages!!), just need a bit till the work picks up.

same in lutonistan,we have work till april but its not what we normally do
everyone i know reckons that it is flat
as i said in the strike thread ,those public se ctor workers are our bread and butter
if they havent got the £££ we suffer too

Wow some good tradesmen sitting around over xmas, hope it picks up boys. The good thing is as trades we can always earn a pound

Yep, dead till the new year up in Manchester too!

Wouldnt have minded another 2 weeks tbh.

Thats what happens when working for the public, who would want the builders in right before xmas!!

Actually got a paving job between now and xmas.

Makes a helluva change.

I've been doing all kinds of things lately. Painting, joinery, making gates etc.

Now is not the time to be a one trick pony.

Got some indoor work, laying laminate flooring this week.
Got 2 people wanting decking done too, other than that I'm running about like a blue arsed fly delivering gas.

Unusual for trades to be so honest, normally people spin a yarn because it never looks good to tell people you arent busy, but why bullshit?

I know a few boys who will always say their booked up till the next century, and there's a few I know who have a bit still on, but it's barren here, my Phone got cobwebs on it. I'm currently looking at a bit of security Planting for a decidedly dodgy Muslim Cleric, Re-pointing a 250m2 Patio, and a possible small Garden Project, if the weather holds and if he can make his mind up. Looks like I'll be getting the Bathroom finished and my paper work in order, Jeeez!!:rock: Next years looking distinctly chilly!!

looks like im on the decorating till xmas . get the decs out as well and put them up i think.mrs loving it giving her jobs list out to me before she goes to work. :D
