My mate saw something today and he had to do a double take.
Nissan Navara, towing a plant trailer (with a quad in), and then another trailer coupled to that being towed behind.
Would love to see him try to reverse!
surely that's not legal ???

Showmen can tow three trailers at a time. Not sure what its called but legal if vehicle is registered as showmans vehicle
Dont confuse pikeys with showmen...

like local said showmans exemptions allows 3 trailers, only exception is for towing dollies, they can tow a car with a trailer but still has to be in weight limit. tractors can tow one laoded and one unloaded trailer.
i have and have seen tractors towing multiple trailers, our local trailer dealer had his big 200hp tractor, an 18 ton lowloader with 2 other flat bed stacked on it, then close coupled to that he had a dump trailer. impressive to see and easier than you think to reverse.
ive towed our tractor dump trailer and had the 1.5 ton mini trailer on the back, but only on local tracks not on the main road
one i found on net
