Possibly not guilty of the actual murder but she was there alright. She gave a lot of conflicting evidence and all of them were pointing the finger at each other. She's guilty of accessory or the like and should be doing time were it not for the totally inept police. If you have the money and the vice president behind you then it's easy to be persuasive America is know for it's ability to adhere to the morals of good justice. It would be unfair for her to earn the money she's about to and not give a good whack of it to the Kerchers.

I agree; she shouldn't benefit from this case - but she does have a huge legal bill to settle. The Kerchers should be the ones having some of the 'benefits'. Not that they'll get any from her, I'm sure.

What I don't agree with is her reason for having a "Rabbit" in her handbag on that day......tut tut

the thing that troubles me is why did she and Rafael turn their phones off that night?
kids these days never turn their phones off
but they would be aware that you can be retroactively located from cell strength signals
something proper moody happended in perugia but due to the nature of the crime and the influential people involved we shall never know what

these cases, sad that they are, bring the worse out in us. They are fascinating. Remember louise woodward? I was in spain at that time and had the spanish tummy so had to stay in for the whole fortnight. her trial was on at the time and i was hooked. I was convinced she was innocent and the mother did it. It's sad when in some cases the victim is forgot about.

Carl kercher is a mate of mine. Its been really hard on the family. The italian police messed up big time on the forensics which helped amanda knox big time. But they do have a guy in prison who has admitted to the killing.
My thoughts are what media circus, it took the importance away from the horrific case.

i have it on and filming it..... :)

re the case remember we are all being influenced by the media, and in the male dominated berlesconi's italy where he can get his favourite 17 yr old prossi off charges then a sexually active girl, especially and american was castigated by the media for having a dildo, i went out with a girl who had one in her bag, one in her car she was great, trying to see her again at mo lol.

a lot of the evidence was seriously messed up floor mat not bagged for 40 day!! the knife from her boyfriends kitchen left with other evidence with blood on it. i mean made the italians look like a third world country, no wonder they can not deal with the costa nostra and other families.

remember they did get Rudy Guede's for sexual assault and murder, he has a history of b+e and aggravated assault, had his dna and hand print and he fled to germany 3 days after the murder was captured there and extradited. he had his sentance reduced from 30 years to 16 years in this recent appeal but his conviction upheld.

just feel for merediths family

Yes I remember that one, it had no way of the momentum of the Maddie case. It sort of got 'swept under the carpet' every time it hit the headlines.
as for Knoxy ,I personally think shes guilty, but we will never know the truth and a killer is in jail  Im sure the killer could give a good account of what was what.

Its hard to judge really because the way the media decides to portray the people involved has a massive impact on what you think.

Its horrendous for all the families involved in these things. Those poor Mcanns are still looking, tragic.
