....whilst I was there they were refurbing the O'Connell Street bridge area.
Walked passed last night to find plant, barriers,planers and tarmac wagons everywhere. At least 100m off each exit from the bridge.
Walked passed there today and nothing,nada. No sign of them ever being there except for freshly macced road.
Job well done IMHO, will up the 'before and after' pics soon.....

Nice to see the lads with the 7.5t lorry towing a mini are there already to dig a hole in the new surfacing! (Picture 3)

they've been putting the job off for a week or two just waiting for the new surface to take it's virginity hehe.

I notice much of the paving work was half arsed (not yours Cookie opposite the Gresham ) ;)
Manholes seem to uniformly collapse even on pedestrian areas and the quality of finishing was bad. Not just a rant, have a look the next time your there, the council work must be passed off by Ray Charles. :laugh:
