That's all it needs is progs' like that with my wife worried to death because her son flying off tomorrow on 6 month tour there. It's been a tuf, emotional w'kend. Now waiting for daughter-in-law to arrive in taxi with grandaughter so i'll have 3 crying women to deal with.

Totally disagree with Giles's pomp & circumstance.
"Be the first one on your block, to have your boy come home in a box.
Heard it all before -
"All Quiet On The Western Front"
Have we not learnt anything?
Feel very sad for Sean & family - fingers crossed he'll be ok

lads it was certainly a reallity check this w'kend, my wife all over the place with emotions, his wife the same. They were arguing on the phone about finances, daughter not asleep, and he's not here to help. it's hard to watch, it really is. It's definetly a single man's game. All we can do'is be proud and hope he comes home safely

Does anybody actually know the reason why we are in Afghan? Its a total joke that after beng there for almost 10 years, nobody really understands why we are there. Thoughts are with Sean and his family

Should of been in Pakistan really, that's where most of the militants come from, or are trained. Better to have just used Special Forces on take down missions, than waste Billions and Thousands of lives on all sides, on a corrupt, backward facing country.
I suppose at least the Arms companies are making a Pocket Full!! Best wishes Sean and Familty.
