my daughters 1st birthday, so saturday was spent in a hall with 5 of her friends, their parents, and other screaming children, and the rest of the day was recovering, and cleaning up, quiz sat night (we won!), then a family bbq for her birthday on sunday, the last guest leaving at 7. phew. To top it all, i was on holiday last week (wales) and had to come home early for a wedding on friday, got home at 10.30 thursday night after a 5 hour journey.
haven't had tome to stop since then!
good wedding though

N1 clive
went for a drink in stockport with flowjoe and joflo then on to a family function in a pub in nearby romily
how can i describe romily?
it makes deliverance look like the little house on the prairie
i rang 3 taxi firms to get back to the hotel in stockport and they all point blank refused to pick me up
the pub itself is banned as a pick up destination
so i then had to put on my best southern accent and ask to be picked up at a house down the road
put it this way its not the sort of pub you go for a drink in if you are a stranger :;):

i reckon the people up north on the whole are friendler by a factor of 3 than down here
everyone i spoke to from arrival to departure was fairly helpful
you get ignored down here if you ask a question in the street
looked for a cafe sunday morning with peter and about 10 different people all directed us to various cafes (sadly all shut) we ended up at maccy ds and 1 lady who had told us of a cracking cafe by the station was also in there, she apologised profusely ,saying she hadnt thought of macdonalds
I wasnt anywhere near top form at the weekend due to the now gone lurg, but i shall return...........
