Looking for assistance if possible hopefully LLL can advise.

I have four number personnel commencing a job at the Gulfstream hanger at Luton airport from Monday 15th August, could you recommend any local BB type establishments, or any that would be best avoided

Thanks in advance

olivers bar and the hardware cafe both do simple B and B accomodation +evening meal for approx £25 per night
olivers

hardware cafe

there has definitely been lads in the pub from manc working for monarch aircraft engineering

next level up would be days inn/icon hotel / the leaside
roughly £60 per night but you might get a bit more for a long stay

premier inn is nice but think they charge about £75 in the week
travelodge and the chiltern are the other side of town.in rough areas
if you find any others let me know the area and i will tell you if its a tip
theres more rough than good parts of luton ,if that makes sense
cheers LLL :)

Now there's an idea for a sub-forum in the BC, reccomendations for B&B's etc - could work really well for those who are unfamiliar with the area.

It’s not a bad idea, but on the other side of the coin would most of us know where is good and where’s not to stay at a bb in our area? I know I would not have a clue as ive never needed a hotel or bb in Lancashire as homes always a stones throw away. Im not knocking the idea, just saying I couldn’t help!

Know what you're saying Ken but I'd have a pretty good idea locally as to whats hot and whats not both in terms of area and various B&Bs etc

Just a thought, anyway.
