Well ive come to the conclusion that it is about time that i do the b+e training and test, as running the gauntlet towing when im not supposed to is eventually going to cost me my licence,
Im going in on tuesday/wednesday for a two day course.
Wish me luck, as its supposed to be hard, 1.5 hour test! :p

good luck the trailer bit is the easy part having to drive at 45mph and doing it all like you're learning all over again is a nightmare

Mind me asking, what sort of money is all this costing you? (Ignoring the day off the tools etc etc)

Ye no probs dave, im doing it with JCL driver training, the cheapest price so far and the most informative and helpful.
Its costing £499.99 all in, hire of vehicle and trailer, dinners! test, vat etc etc.

I done mine back in 2007, didnt go through a course or any training, the boss took me to the test centre with the van and trailer and off I went. It wasnt exceedingly difficult, just remember the rules of the road, safe loading of the trailer and ofcourse, mirrors mirrors and more mirrors!
Good luck

lessons for me was £20 in 2005. I can remember when I got my car I could fill it and have enough left for 20 Regal off of 40 quid. Now, 40 quid of petrol barely touches the sides and Regal are out of my reach now!
