the tt is one of the least dangerous races on the road racing calendar. Some of the roads they race on over here I can't top 40mph on because they're so rough and they're hitting 200 it's insane to watch. I know a few racers and it's all they live for they know the risks but it doesn't stop them. The Northwest 200 in Coleraine is the toughest and fastest of the lot and attracts over 300 000 spectators a year it's an amazing weekend.

I remember watching an interview with Carrol Foggerty and he was asked if he would be taking part in the TT and his blunt reply was no do you think I`m stupid and the asked what road bike he has again stated that he dont have one as he dont have a death wish...?.

He won it three times!!! I think that interview took place when he was on to his 4th world superbike title he's a legend!
