Am back, thanks for asking. Went into brew-cabin self imposed exile while I was off the tools. Went back on light duties last week so here I am, did you miss me lol?
Have had to make changes already with staffing/overheads etc.
Going to be doing physio for about 4-5 more months, ankle still hurts like hell after lunchtime-ish but I gues it's better than being a cripple.
Good to be back

Yes I did. I went for a lot more than my reserve and I was inundated with enquiries for it.
I'm "known" for my blunt accurateness in describing down things I ebay - I hate all the bulls**t descriptions that are on there.
It went to a builder from the south coast, he didnt inspect it, had his chap with him who was off to pick some stuff up from the other end of the country straight from my house. I gave him loads of stuff for nowt, about £200 quids worth of boxed parts that I could have ebayed separately. Heard from him 10 days later, was very happy with it.
Six weeks later I got a recorded delivery letter saying he wanted compensation as he was going to have to get rid of it at auction as his local mechanic reckoned it had been driven into water by me. Or he would take a cash-in-lieu offer. Otherwise his solicitor would take on the case of suing me.
Has cost me £300 in legal costs so far to "dissuade him from pursuing that course of action"
You couldn't make it up. I suspect he's done the job he wanted it for then decided to take the ****

Some proper scroundels out there, no scruples whasoever. I have been having an absolute nightmare with a "customer" on Ebay for the last 6 weeks.
Been abused by her and her husband, called every name under the sun, they wrote feedback which was complete bxxxxxxcs. Eventually I just decided to offer them 8m2 of chipped sandstone F.O.C because I was just that sick of the situation dragging on. Needless to say they snapped my hand off.
I thought I had finally seen the back of them until yesterday. Turned on my computer to see how my ebay auctions were going and they had just won another one.

ebay is supposed to be a legal site, and as such, ebay people should pull their finger out and deal with these kind of people
I had an incident where someone sold me a a genuine trailer, added vat on , and refused to issue me with a vat invoice. Ebay didn't want to know, despite the fact is says in their rules you must include vat in the listed price, not add it on later.
I keep on reporting these clowns for doing this, yet ebay ignore it.
It needs someone with some clout to take ebay to court or something. they make millions for nothing
Hads anyone every sued eay ???
