I'm sacking the petrol mixer and getting an electric one, got to save a bit here and there.
Saw 1.45 in Solihull last night, dragged the van a few more miles on orange and got down to 1.38, felt almost like it was a bargain..wahey:p

shocker!! £108 quid to fill the van the other day, nearly ran out too yesterday trying to get off the motorway before we paid even more a litre than the robbing "people" wanted.

We hit our first tonner today, £104 for a transit van. Wonder if the fuel price will stabilise or just keep creeping up ?

That's just over 30 mpg if I'm not mistaken. You should get more like 40 out of a despatch. The European stuff is normally very economical. I get 38 mpg out of a toyota hiace 102 hp. Mind you I drive like I should be wearing a flat cap & smoking a pipe!!!

I tend to short shift, coast when I can and just drive steady. Makes a difference.
