It needs half a bag of perished cement in the corner - a man needs somewhere to park his arse while he's contemplating life from his shed!

I've got that all ready and waiting - it's just parked in the garage (along with everything else) whilst I try to finish this bugger off

Wow Ian - can't wait for stop-frame movie posting - you realise this is only the beginning - you will now want more, more, ever bigger, ever more de-luxe - just say no..... you're on a slipppery slope.

The amount of time it's taking, I'm not sure that there is a business model in there for me :)

Actually I think that this is my fightback for not being 'allowed' to do more work on the extension we had built last year - the SO has no faith in me ...

Looks sweet. I love the 'basement' - I've left a gap in my reinforcement in case I ever want to dig out an inspection pit, but I don't think I'll be putting another room down there!

A fairly sedate weekend, this one - did some stuff other than shedding. Still, managed to add some extra roof timbers and a reclaimed Velux:

Query: when attempting a job tht would be best with two people, does it take one person 2, 3 or 4 times as long (if not more)? All that fetching of stuff that could be passed, clamping up that could have been held, etc ...

Ooh, me back! Ah, me knees. Thought I'd done all the digging when I laid the base. Nope, forgot about the 30-40m service trench. The Spousal Overunit didn't want too much mess made of the lawn so it was 'surgical precision' with the 'masking tarps' and backfilling as I went along:

Shingles fixed to one side of the roof. Still needs the other side, ridge piece and fascia boards to complete the effect:
