i think with torres not being the same player in the last year and gerrard off the boil mid table beckons
letting alonso and mascherano go was a waste
but there you go
hodgson didnt turn into a bad manager overnight, after 25 years of sucess
he inherited a team in decline, that needs to be rebuilt without torres and gerrard
liverpool remind me of arsenal when the famous back 4 were all getting on
strange thing about london roads ,every town must have one
I live 50 M away from london road luton,we also have inexplicably a liverpool road, and a york street

and mickg i was too young for the skinhead era but me and my mates followed them from about age 10,they sniffed glue and about 20 did the esso garage on the corner of guildford street, nicked the till, fags ,booze etc
we were straight in after them for the sweeties :)

Jim Gannon used to play for Stockport County. Going back to 1993 Stoke had beaten Stockport County 2-1 and after the match Jim Gannon had refused to shake our Striker, Mark Steins hand. Apparently Stein then goaded Gannon about the scoreline and Gannon responded with a bit of alledgedly racist abuse. Stein then smacked Gannon in the mouth.

Case went to court and Stein was found guilty of assault although the judge conceded he had been subjected to extreme provocation.

Thats why Stoke fans hate Gannon
That might also be why Vale fans hate Stein so much.

Good day at Burnley. 27 coaches of Vale fans, and almost as many minibuses

i sort of knew mark stein when he was at luton
when i say knew, i just saw him out being a typical gobby arrogant footballer,he nearly got slapped in the kebab shop one night and it doesn't surprise me that he was in a row with someone
his brother brian by contrast was a legend and a gentleman

just saw the mancs score but why did giggs take the penalty?
I had berbatov to score first and it makes me think that the fix is in

The penalty is one of them that if it's for you, it's definite, if it's against, it's poor decision.

Its a bit steep for Caroll, but on the other hand the signing of Carrol and Suarez is a massive statement of intent from the New board and has masssively softened the blow of Torrez's departure. I think its a good bit of business for Liverpool.
