Can't see the problem myself - how else would the next contractor find the drain if it was fully camouflaged? They would spend days just tapping the slabs until they found the ones that sounded different.

It's a bit like the dustbins with the hedge design decals - I wonder how many weeks go by when their dustbins aren't emptied as the dustmen simply didn't see them!

Thanks for posting these Steve.
You have all ruined walking for me, all i do is look at covers and see if they are laid correctly, just waiting to walk in to a pole or a wall while studying the footpaths.

The top two are works of art! No matter how you orientate the trys, the paving will never match up. True class!

This one is *so* close to being right, but they just didn't quite manage....maybe they thought it'd ruin their reputation if they achieved a fully correct installation!
