I have drove both the new and the old shape X5 and never had any issues like your saying
if you recall a few years ago motorway police had the ML now they have the X5's, I was told ML's handled very bad, not a comfy ride and was advised never buy one, must boil down to personal choice at the end of the day

For a commercial vehicle, as giles says, its better to lease. 100% tax deductable. Buying outright, only 20%.

I've been laid up now with flu and now a nasty chest infection since Friday-last, I'll be honest boys I've never felt so ill in my life. I'm not one to go running to the Doctor but it was Saturday AM - so I rang NHS Direct to get a local out-of-hours appointment, they wanted to send a bonewagon for me!! Anyway, got some pretty hefty meds now but can't see me going in for the next 3/4 days at least. Not good.

I changed to a foutrak this winter. I really rate it, solid under heavy towing weight too, plus almost 30mpg out of it.

The NHS self diagnosing thingymebob is funny, log in to it with a mild headache, and 5 minutes later it tells you, you have Ebola.
Not much snow in the bottom end of the Staffordshire Moorlands, been waiting for a phone call all night to go gritting, but not rang yet :p
