Yes its getting to that time of year
We used a specialist land drain company for a job in Coventry - Peugeots Head quarters, they did a football pitch size field 6' spacing and 4' deep in a week easily. Was funny ,as the week before the ground workers, made the field like a snooker table with a nice 30 tonner and a roller. Forgot about drainage and all the weekends rain ended up across the road, flooding out a hobbyist engineers house. Cost a few quid ,that did new lathe and miller along with a re-dec as I remember.
Lol

how do you get away with moving a 13 ton machine on a trailer pulled by a tractor and not have to use a low loader like everyone else ?

Law says max 24 tons gross for tractor and trailer. So 13 ton machine, 3.5 ton of trailer (trailer rated to 18 tons) then tractors about 8 ton.
Plus cops dontbother with tractors and trailers and if vosa ask it's going to our field to do land drainage. Which intact it is so wouldn't need to lie and can use red as it's for agricultural work.
Our other js130 hd is actually 16 tons so be pushing it with that one, that gets moved on a lowloader or 8 wheeler
