you could get a dirty one for less, and lets face it, after you've used that one a few times it'll be dirty anyway

yeah the bloke whos selling it says hes got one without a new drum for £165 do you think thats a good price ?

if you can find one for the right money, this is one great little compactor too, its the bomag 18/45 18kn of compaction will do the business every time. older ones are affordable, they come up on ebay at about 300 quid

that looks like a 10/36 a good plate and you can lift it on your own albeit with a struggle

have you got any work for this? my advice either take a leap of faith and buy one or just hire one till you have a real need for one

posting ebay links here all the time ppl will just start ignoring you, find one you like and go for it. it might be crap or it might be a great one but till you know something about whackers your going to struggle hence why i suggest getting a few jobs and hiring whackers then you can find what you like and dontlike,

have you bought one yet, have you not got a good local independent hire shop nearby, buy one of their used ones what we do and normally service it as well before selling it you, build up a realtionship with them and you get better hire rates and prices on second hand gear.

Not got one yet but picked up a mixer for £145 :) need a transformer though ........... i tried a couple of hire shops and they have said by the time they get rid of stuff its past it ! :(

A wacker plate is a data recovery device
