sobered up now,but to be honest it was purely to blot out the dross that was on show :;):
something weird is going on at the world cup finals
I havent seen 1 team yet except maybe the argies who look in any way capable of winning the thing
somebody said it near the start of this thread but we looked like 11 millionaires having a kickabout
the biggest issue for me is that the FA is more concerned about money and sponsorship than football
read this little beaut for starters
The FA are more concerned about the nike money than the england players getting used to a completely different ball
they are called the FA because that is the sum total of their footballing knowledge
if i hear one more bleat about '66 (home advantage,16 teams, friendly refs, etc etc) I am going to apply for scottish citizenship
and as for Algeria, hats off to those guys, they played with passion, commitment , and discipline
most of all they played as a team
i can see us getting rolled by slovenia,I hope not but we have nothing to offer right now
deflated

lets hope England get to use the same ball they used in the Denmark v Cameroon game as both teams played well with it :;):

it was a cracking game and a pity Cameroon lost as they played their hearts out

Cant believe i am this worried about playing bloody Slovinia.

Thought JT was well out of order speaking to the press, even if he said what we all thought, Capello to his credit has reacted well.

We just need a result ! come on ROOOONEY !
