Seeing as we pay for the Beeb they should be answerable to us. Mind you, that method of thinking might just be "quite complex and difficult to explain simply and accurately" to quote the BBC. You just cant simplify something that might take a bit of time explaining fully.
WOP, I doubt they would, probably cant be arsed doing some proper research into the matter lol

why include the patent BS that "some are working overseas"
what has that got to do with anything?
the bottom line is they were sponsored by a permeable block manufacturer,who let them use their test yard
the researcher should be bagged for falling for a manufacturer's lies

Why bother explaining the legislation to home owners ? Whats the worst that can happen ? Retrospective planning permission.I'm in no way shape or form a cowboy,just not arsed going into politics and debate with a customer.The less that is said to a customer the less come back on me.Most of my jobs are renewing a knackered drive to new so the precedent has been set already.Customer see's an extension being done next door,enquires about having an extension done themselves,finds out that he does'nt need planning as long as he is within the parameters of planning law.Driveways, it seems to be a different set of rules !!!! Customers by and large will NOT pay for arsey fancy specifications to accomodate the rules especially when his neighbours(s) have a typical driveway.
