ok so the deal is done all being well it will be done next Friday I know it will need to be covered so whats best to cover it ? :)

...frost mat, hessian, or polythene. You will be buying poleythene anyways for under your slab so might be cheapest way. You'll have to raise it above finished slab and stop it blowing away, or flapping about which could damage the finish. Frost mat can be rolled out over finished slab if gone off enough...about 4.00 in the morning :laugh:

you need to start early this time of year michael
8am sharp mate
done by 9 cuppa tea and a sandwich then trowel up at 3 and cover
if you keep the polythene say 150 above you can feel the heat the concrete gives off as it cures

Don't forget to borrow/hire an easy float. Maybe a youngerman, or scaffold board to span the pour for trowelling up. Would love to do that for you if i were closer. Don't over trowel it, time it right and you should get a decent finish, arris edges also :;): :)

yep used a gert big set square :p and I measured from corner to corner diagonally :)

3:4:5 always works well and the diagonals for good measure

we have a 10k rooflight coming monday and if I am out on my steel measurements its going to be corned beef for xmas dinner
