If they are taking them away, you need to check they have a waste carriers licence, and ask exactly where they are disposed of

They're a very long standing local company, I'm not concerned over that in all honesty :)

Actually, opening our upstairs curtains this morning shows our neighbour actually has almost all of the old side and rear fence in her garden!

Whilst you may not be concerned about where its disposed of, you should still ask to see their licence.

If they get caught transporting it without, it comes back to the householder now

Well by all accounts there is little waste off site, our neighbour has almost everything that was taken down, including a few damaged concrete posts which I'm guessing they may look to cut down and re-use on a lower fence run...who knows!

Anyhow, progress so far - the stone is for the path, I am presuming they have done some 'organising' of it which makes it look like a wall!

No proper scrap firm pay cash on cheque or pay direct into your account now.... It's to cut down on metal theft

They didn't like the level or pattern on the main patio area, so today they stripped it out and started again! Credit to them, I don't think every company would go to that extreme! Does look better actually, but a subtle change more than drastic!

I was going to say that it did look wonky. As you say, fair play to them for fixing the problem

tell them they should not have any + in the paving where 4 corners meet maybe print off the main page here for them to read while having a brew might help them with any future mess ups and redoing stuff
