0800 number = as bad as not having one, pikeys getting 0800 numbers forwarded to mobiles these days

im pretty certain landlines can be forwarded to mobiles too!

yeah they can as thats what I do, it gives more credibility to customers and they are no wiser as you pay for the cost of the divert

costs me approx £ 15 for the call divert

Yeah but still have to have the physical line in to get the number so more credibility than just an 0800 number gives your locality as well which makes you more credible as well

actually o2 will give you a geographical number that is diverted to your mobile. They will give you a birmingham number. london number etc.

what we are saying is a normal landline number works best
as has been said 0800 stinks of gypos/hard sell
a landline and an address makes thing look transparent
