once you get used to using water it becomes second nature
the secret is not too much

you are only suppressing the dust not trying to wash the street away

i find too much water makes cutting a silly messy job
for me anyway

Yep ra-30 is what we have coming. Hear great things about them from everyone. Cheap and really long lasting.

pulvex blade turned up today
did about 10m of cutting fine
too wet for pics
seemed about35-50% quicker than the jcb blade lets see how it lasts

Looks the part And quicker is always better Luton! are you cutting all with a saw or do you use a block splitter?

I have got a splitter but i just dont feel the finish is neat enough on domestic work
bit messy with water but had 2 inquiries today from local folk so must look ok

I disagree with how neat a block cutter can be as I have used them on granite, clays and CBP's I always cut slightly to big and then run the saw up the lot, curves and all. Less noise,dust ,disruption and quicker for private jobs.
I have used a few but really rate my birchwood blocksplitter

i use a spectrum tx10r, don't cut any asphalt with it mind but on clay paviours, Indian stone, metal, its been good. about £60 inc vat each if you are buying 300mm (I use the 230mm, at £40 inc vat)
