Thats not quite whay he's saying Sean. Also whats wrong with people who are content to be labourers ? not everybody wants responsibility. i had a couple of years where i was just grafting and going the pub everynight and it did me no harm whatsoever.

..........i know what he's saying m8. you say: what's wrong with it? It is uo to you what you call the work force, i'm not bothered, i merely stated ''it was my opinion that i didn't like refering to workers as ''labourers''. I think i will keeo my opinions to myself in future, didn't realise you all like the term '' labourer'' to describe your hard working men.

A good labourer (or operative :;): ) is worth his (or her) weight in gold. I just think that operative sounds a bit lame and is non descript. Operative could be applied to any job or industry where as the term labourer is more specific to what we do. I was never ashamed to be called a labourer and i dont think anyone should be. It's a bloody hard job and anyone who is any good at it should be very proud.

We have set ourselves a deadline of 6 weeks to move all the stock, machines and set up the office. Its a big ask and will mean there are going to be some long days over the next few weeks but cant wait for the challenge.
all the best with the move Steve I look forward to seeing your new setup. Are you moving your sales office to or is the display staying put. Can we all agree to stop talking about the definition of a labourer now.
Can't see it from my house

Thats pretty funny for you Sean :;): :D

Hah, yeh i think its a case of agree to disagree. LLL there is a load of graffiti on a long fence southbound on the M25 just before junction 16. Thats always my reminder that I'm back in the mad house.

Were just moving the depot Paul for the moment. Cant move the showroom, We havent even finished the bugger yet :D

they certainly dont build them like they used to. See some horrendous new builds, its almost like we have gone backwards. What about that fiasco with hammersmith flyover? The hammersmith 1 way is bad enough anyway, even before you've diverted the A4 onto it. I heard Boris on the radio saying it would be finished before the olympics, as if that was a good achievement.

If it was in China they would just knock it out in a couple of weeks, although the build quality might suffer and health and safety standards would give Sean & Rab a bloody heart attack.
