maybe its the picture but those KS kerbs at the front look like an ocean wave
and the new and old look odd
apart from that great installation
cheers LLL

Your right Tony. The kerbs stretch right across the face off the property and the client didn't want to replace them all so I replaced the ones that needed replacing and did my best the the aco.

The pictures I took today don't really do the job justice but I do have one gripe and tthat's with 50mm set in general.
I very rarely used the stuff before I started up on my own as it was all either 60 or 80's but 50mm blocks just don't seem to iron out right with the wacker.

seems a shame to have those teg pennanat grey kerbs to the flower bed and a mix and match on the front
but we all know the rules
the client is always right

Yeah but in this case I don't really blame him.
You can't see it in the pictures but those kerbs go on for about 30 meters.
I did suggest replacing all the kerbs in front or the new paving but he said not to worry.
That house is in an old pub and is in lovely setting with a paddock round the back.
I think I might be back there next year to lay cobbles (not setts) and brick paving around to the other side and rear of the house.
Next jobs the vitrified stuff.

Finished at last :)

Crikey there were no leaves on those trees when I started, thought at one point it was going to go full cycle and see them bare again.

No more striped turf laying, once it starts to bend the illusion is of a hump.

Top work there, its so easy to overrun on a job like that.

Good to see there's no slip in quality if it did.

Thanks all.

Yes mostly my design. The brief was a level garden, a patio here and a patio on the lower level.
It's pretty much what won me the job but I made a rod for own my back and will not make that mistake again. Hopefully it will gain me some attention once on my website.

£50k in the affluent East maybe, I would have been happy with £35-40:( .

I wouldn't beat yourself up about it Mark. You had some bricks to lay there.
Without a good brickie going at speed it's always going take longer.
You have done a fantastic job on that walling btw. Much better than I could have done.
As far as price is concerned, you learn by your mistakes. You now know how much you need to charge for a job like that and now that you have done that one I've got a feeling you'll be getting a few more :)
