That really looks awesome Dempsey.
Do you lay the edging first on on the rolled setts one and then fill in?
Also, did you use easy point or whatever for pointing or did you do all that pointing the standard way?
I'd like to try something like that myself. Looks spectacular.

Cheers lads
Round tops are sawn limestone Tony. Can get them in multi kerbs too.
All the borders go in first to sett levels then laid to string line. Pointing is 3/1 sharp/cem 1 slurry with sbr.

Awesome. I've been in this game a lot of years and the majority of the work I see is passable at best so it is refreshing to see someone take so much pride in there work.
every job you have posted on these pages has been stunning mate.

I've got to say you've re ignited the fire in me to do something spectacular like that but I've never done an unbound driveway or block paving type affair. I really want to learn. So tempted to do my Mums like that and she just pay for materials so I can take as long as I need to get it spot on. Could it be pulled off that well first time though. I just don't have the confidence..
Dempsy was that sealed or just wet?

Cheers sy seeing the work that gets posted on here makes you try that little bit harder I think. If I can become half as good as Mick G or Cookie I'll be happy
I'm 32 so I've got a few years to catch up before the knees and back go !!
Just wet forest I'll try post some dry if I go past
Cheers
