Cracking job Dempsey.

I used same product recently but laid it like block paving, must say it looks much better jointed as you have done.

Very classy.

Cheers Mick. Haven't used anything with as much colour variation as this before, it seems to be a good quality and unique stone.

I'll keep an eye on how it weathers as its not far from me.

work of art that dempsey
I would be happy with that on my drive
excellent mitres
incidentally I had an argument with a groundworker about kerbs heights and he reckons on all new builds the kerb/edging is set at 35mm higher than the road/drive whatever as a water bar
top job mate

LLL :)

Kerbs are set at a minimum of 125 on a rd. Bus stops are more strict obviously.
Depth of concrete bedding is 150 or 25-30 ml screed bed on preformed brace.
Private vehicle access is 25 ml,
agricultural vehiclr access is 25ml,
Pedestrian access is 0-6ml,
unless water run off is expected to be a problem, then a half
Battered kerb should be laid flat in situ with extra gullies placed if needed. Had same argument on new job along with depths of 450 inspection chambers, won both arguments
Hope this helps LLL.

Yes it is 25ml on the pins for vehicle access but obviously where pedestrian/cyclepath has water problem, the half batter laid flat gives it extra height.
Because of the angle on the kneeler to the pin you would have to grind down where the two meet.
