I wear those slip-on boots, not sure how we'd get on sites though, are they classed as rigger boots or not??

probably not dave but for myself when I have to talk to clients maybe 10 times a day its easier to slip them on and off than undoing lots of laces
I have been wearing that type for over 20 years with no problems thus far to myself
before that it was the old monkey boots :(

for some reason the frost has nailed them

we had to saw into the joint of each brick vertically and then horizontally into the bed

difficult job made easier by nice clients

we started using the water bottle but the locals said they would rather dust than slurry all over their fruit trees

so masks goggles and muffs

cheers LLL :)

Busy, busy at moment so haven't posted for sometime but saw this on a new development this morning when viewing some work.

This is a new one to me.

I remembered the road had recently been tarmacked and on approaching thought they had ripped it up and replaced with block paving, but....

And then painted.

Apologies for butting in here, but i've spent the last few evenings reading through this whole thread from start to finish.

Just wanted to say that it is fantastic to see a a group of tradesmen with such a passion for what they do. Thanks for the inspiration, and thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out on my other threads as i crack on with my own project.

Hope i can post a few pics in here over the next year or so, for you to rip apart/provide honest feedback *delete as appropriate.

Cheers.
