my view from the boxing
groves coming in on a double decker
Image

there were some funny bits and bad bits of the night

going to the toilet at wembley and finding around 70 northerners all chuffing on regals made me laugh :)

2 dickheads on the tube after (sardine tight) who headbutted an old man so hard that when the doors opened he fell back and hits his head on the concourse was appalling behaviour by froch fans

boxing definitely attracts a diverse crowd

started a new job yesterday the pulvex blade made short work of the 50 mm council greys and 100 mm slab

and somewhere to tip for once

Tony do you not use boards when your dumping spoil on a drive?

you cant see it from here Kieran but that area was covered in gravel over type 1 so we removed the gravel and are tipping on the type 1
plus the whole drive has to be done at the death so no point really
looking a bad day tomorrow only 7 lineal metres left to dig but pishing down all day

Glad you got away with the weather Tony. It's been raining non stop here. Got round to sorting a few quotes out though so not a completely wasted day.

What I meant was, what are you building. Looks like your digging out a footing but for what?

Glad to see I'm not the only one who improvises with fencing pins.

I was gonna say the same :) old level pins come in handy for all sorts. Bit like blue tac, laggy bands and duct tape.

How long do you reckon that lot will take you Tony?
Is there no damp course on that building?

Why didn't you use a concrete pump?

Probably comes down to money....not cheap things to have in when a dumper that you already have on hire will do the job albeit a little slower.

Our volumetric lads have a small boom pump on 4 wheeler only pump their own but £125 first hour then £80 an hour

Bargain

But most volumetrics don't charge waiting so dumpers work as well done 16m3 pours when too far to pump with 1 ton dumpers.
