about 2 years on the patio and 18 months on the drive
but you know yourself in the building game everything gets dirty very fast with muddy boots every day
I should have done before and after but got caught in the moment

Tape them up with masking tape or similar.
An ex Brew Cabin Irregular was told to do this on one of my jobs last year but decided he wouldn't bother because he knew better.
When we couldn't get the tray out of the frame at the end of the job, I made the fozy ducker rip out the entire frame and tray to be replaced at his own expense.
we take the insert out and joint it separately
that way there are no problems
also we grease the trays as no matter what you do they always seem a pain to get out

have to say I quite like the dry ridge and verge systems
they look a bit odd at first but the fact that there is no cement to fail is a bonus
cheers LLL
that's a good day with the digging off of the driveway seeing as it was lashing it down with rain
nice job on the roof, dry ridge and verge systems are much better than bedding with sand and cement, not keen on the continuous verge systems I much rather have individual verge ends but they take much longer to install
not seen the blue tile battens before

7 days a week 8am till 8pm
the blue battens are graded ,slightly more expensive but the guy wanted the least maintenance possible (and he is a painter!)
i told the scaffs to keep the scaffold high but not that high so when the tilers had to replace the fascia and soffit boards it was a bit of a mare
but all done now
scaffold up friday down tomorrow
