No, insurance have refused to cover it
Original slip caused by building the swimming pool extension and top loafing the slope with the arisings.

no he got a guy how built him a garage at his old house to do it, guy went bump quicker than you can say bump when it all moved

It always worries me when clients will pay good money for a lovely blacktop driverway, but can't find a few quid extra for a kerb or retainer of some form to prevent the edges fraying. Even a timber edging is better than nowt!

I agree......but nope, wouldn't have it, just wanted a decent overlay to smarten it up!

To be honest, the driveway is much wider than any of the traffic that uses it - so edge deterioration isn't too much of an issue - aslong as people don't drive off the edges!
I'm finding that some people don't generally like kerbs - and an increasing number also don't like the blackness of blacktop surfacing - they say it makes it look like a Tesco car park.
