my ryobi battery drill packed up today was gonna buy a impact makita 18V set but at Â£300 plus opted for the b&q Â£60 option, batterys last about 10 mins and take an hour to charge ............hummmmmm!

nice tidy fence michael ,but have you not considered using a timber 6 by 1 gravel board under the panels on slopes?
you can cut the gravel board to suit the slope

yep i do normally but they wanted it as cheap as possible so decided to see what it looked like and there happy with it all for the sake of a few quid ............ nearly as bad as one customer i had who liked some weeds:D

i noticed the concrete posts are still in place just behind. Does that mean that the fence is not on the boundary? We get this when the owner refuses to pay, so the neighbour has to pay and put it up on their side. then when they take the old fence down, they have gained some land !

well they dont get on to well infact its to keep the little sod theyve got out

there boath council propertys though so theyve not exactly gained anything

Did you stick some Dpm etc before the soil or just fill up against the brick work

Is it south facing?

The wall is retaining a main road which is higher than box by about 5 courses . I tacked some 1200 gauge inside the box and the wall before back filling and gave all the tanalised timber a lick of stain should hold up 4 a while my original quote included sleepers but we had to get the price down . The wall is east facing but see's some sun most of th morning the plan was to have something easy to maintain and break up the monster of a wall.
