some recent random bits
price increases
my missus hates leaves and sweeps them like hilda ogden
this was the scene after last thursday's wind at lout villas
went for a chinky last week and spotted this glorious bit of south east asian brickwork
N.B. the glass sits straight on the brickwork
who needs frames and sills?
back on the job removed a chimney breast right down
permeable paving going cheep cheep

well spotted mike
i did ask the chippys and the response was
"we dont grow the trees"
it shocked me when i put the battens up for the gables how much variation from true there can be in a 6M length of timber
(well not really shocked at all :;): )
all the timber is tanalised now,i find it straighter than sawn and for 10p a metre extra worth it
laid more blocks today, surprised to still be laying this close to xmas

Loved the picture of the chap in the JCB bucket; he must have a good sense of balance. However, some of your photos are very blurry. If you don't know, it's camera shake.
Granny, partial vacuum, egg shells and all that, but always squeeze the shutter release, don't jab at it. You may be taking pictures in the dusk, after your day's work. The camera cannot give you a fast enough shutter speed in that light, and camera shake is inevitable. Try waiting until the morning, when it's brighter.
