Im really pleased with this little job, I had some Marshall's Jade green slate lying around for ages, only 2 sizes. This lady had saved for ages to get this little 15m2 patio done and could only afford a budget job but I did this and she was chuffed. I even smashed up the last few flags and tumbled the Chipping's in the mixer to fill the gravel strip Image

I thought that was not suitable for use on a drive due to its thickness

Your probably right dan but we had about 100mm type 1 100mm lean-mix full mortar bed 5:1 and the flags averaged between 35-45mm so only time will tell

That spec is bomb proof have used it my self had eight wheelers on the same :D

I've laid quite a few indian stone and flagged drives on 100mm mot, 100mm 4/1 with no problems

Ye I dont like putting the small units in. Didn't cut them been using them around lawns lately which gets rid of a few.

Put them in on granite job I've just finished as couldn't get single sizes from my LBM.
