i can never get my head around football fans that support teams from towns/places they weren't born in
its called trophy hunting
there's a fella that goes to every luton game from colchester,he said when he was a lad luton was the nearest town that had a half decent club (hes about 50) now that is fair enough because i have seen him through thick and thin on the terraces year in year out, relegation after relegation.
But my hoddy was born in a little village 10 miles north of Luton
and he professes allegiance to the Tottenham
he has never been to white hart lane and never seems to know a scoreline the next day
whats that all about??

cant get over the amount of liverpool fans there are in london especially around the 40 age mark .give em there due 95% of people round here where i live are staunch west ham.what amazes me down south you walk round markets etc and you see liverpool ,man ure , everton etc and all the london clubs merchandise for sale .that doesnt happen up north execpt for sports direct etc . example you wont see liverpool gear on a manchester market or visa versa man ure stuff in lpool. on whitehall in central london theres a guy half way up with a stall selling london souveneirs etc and footy scarves including lpool and man ure . i got talking to him one day . i said i bet youve had that scarf a while . he replied im glad i only got one , had it over 3 years on this stall . and the scarf was blackburn rovers

apparently they are big news in india now
except when i was a little kid i have never been a "scarfer" as soon as i could i was buying casual gear ,diamond pringle, addidas forest hills, kappa ,chipie, classic nouveau, tachinni
that was when you had to save up for 6 weeks for decent clobber,
nowadays all the youth walk about in fake stone island gear which makes me laugh as i never considered stone island football attire anyway,it never really arrived till after football changed anyway
In italy pensioners wear stone island ,say no more
