much the same in luton sean, either jamaicans or biker types,i got stabbed in the leg in "dojos" for refusing a cigarette to a mouthy type,my mate intervened and also got stabbed right up the crack of his arris, now that must have been sore
looking back i can see the reasons why places need to be licensed
TBH it wasnt the brightest move going into a place full of yardies

How did we survive ??? I've been in some dodgy hell holes. i've skippered, dossed, spent nights in a spike, or three, not the best of places i can assure you. Hardened me up, or did it soften me? one things for sure it helped cured me of the drink and drugs. Penty of scars both physical and mental that take some wiping off.

there something about dodgy little places that are appealing, when i moved to munich when i was 20 for 2 years never been there before and with 3 other english lads of my uni course to do our placements we were out one night in the first week or so got in a cab and one of the lads was take us to a good time. the driver like good time, i was saying to them we'll probably end up at a brothel etc. took us to this old warehouse in the middle of massive industrial quarter and it was well rough run by turkish guys, people shooting up in plain view but just kept head down had a drink and a laugh and it was alright till we had to find our way home not speaking any german and not really knowing where home was haha.
