i can spot pikeys miles off, nothing like the irish
1 vans are always immaculate and normally have multiple decals and photies to assure you of their authenticity
2 normally one guy in an ill fitting suit and hi-vis running the show,he will be boss eyed and can talk very fast,he normally carries a clip board as a prop, also a lot of gold on his hands etc
3 some poor east European creatures, who look like they have been liberated from belsen, these guys are the workforce
4 a fat 12 yr old pikey kid ,incessantly hitting the aforementioned inmates with a 600mm car Ariel or any implement he can find
(usually if this *kid* spots us he offers us riches beyond our wildest dreams,if we do some drives for his dad)
anything else anyone?

you forgot to mention that there normally leaving with the neighbours lawnmower and gates (or anything else that is`nt welded/bolted down) think they see it as a perk of the job.
I`ve been working in construction for 20yrs and i`ve never seen an immaculate works van. my employer has a large fleet and to be honest, if the lads get a new van fresh from the wrapper it`s normally dented within a week.

Jees, We've had a new iveco crewcab for a month, have to fill in two sheets before driving, clean it every other minute (or so it seems), and god help the first person to actually use it as it was intended - as a work vehicle.
Anybody would think its a Merc Limo
