problem is with buying abroad if you do it in an out of the way place ,the airline bringing you there can cut that route at the drop of a hat

me and the missus wanted to buy an apartment in bergamo, flights from luton where dirt cheap with ryanair

we went to book our next visit and ryanair had cut the rout ===>permanently

we can still get there by travelling to stanstead ,but it goes from being easy on a friday to being hard work

where do you fly from hen?
cheers LLL

yeah i flew from luton to bergamo for a tenner a couple of years ago for a weekend away. I didnt manage to buy a pint that was cheaper than my flight all weekend!
It's like anywhere,if you head for the tourist traps you'll get fleeced.

We are a bit off the beaten tracks. The head of border police lives right behind us, so no weekend warriors to worry about :D
Sunny Beach is a bit like Blackpool ,full of tourists and seasonal, not my cup of tea.
I like the idea of doing a bit of hunting, shooting and fishing, relaxing, no light pollution so a bit of stargazing at night , bliss !
There's lots of properties on 'my Bulgaria' have a look.

So no tips on gunite or shotcrete then? ???

All the best

My sister and brother in law went there on their trip around europe a few years ago. While they were walking to some attaction a guy at the bottom of a hill was selling bottles of water for 1 euro and people were paying. My brother in law saw him a wee while later collecting empty water bottles from bins and filling them from a fountain nearby.

If you are doing the job yourself then you've probarbly made the right choice waiting for better weather. dont leave it too late though or you'll miss summer :)
