I can't disagree with your own experience, but.....40+ years of phone calls telling us that blocks need to be re-bedded because they've debonded suggests that not all get it right first time.

Well 2 tins of rompox easy and more rendering of the retaining wall (its difficult to render a wall with the flags in place when the wall is so small)! A lick of paint and its pretty much done.

I just need to do a bit of landscaping to tidy it up a bit, stone chippings, some extra fencing and some plants/trees!

Cant thank the info on teh site and the information from the forum members enough. I might have to try and do my driveway next ;)

heres some piccies of how it stands today, the wall is quite bright though:

Im unsure yet as to if im going to seal the stone or not yet if i do i would imagine i`ll use the lithofin mn stainstop since it comes highly regarded.
